What Volunteers Will Do
As a volunteer at Øhavets Smakkecenter, you’ll participate in daily educational events by donning medieval costumes and adopting roles that reflect the historic ambiance of the town. Your activities will include participating in medieval tournaments, operating siege machines, and taking part in public demonstrations. You'll learn about Denmark's medieval history while gaining practical skills in a variety of areas.
Main Responsibilities
Assisting visitors and facilitating outdoor, medieval-themed events.
Participating in traditional crafts such as rope-making, dyeing, sewing, and woodworking.
Working collaboratively with staff and interacting with the public in an engaging environment.
